Unprocessed specimens – ambient: 3 days; refrigerated: 1 week; frozen: 1 month
Processed specimens – refrigerated: 1 week; frozen: 1 month
UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION – blood, paraffin blocks, stool, swabs and urine
